Through this partnership, Green Power will supply high-quality solar energy kits, including panels, inverters, and battery storage, designed to meet the energy needs of households and small businesses. The kits range in capacity, with options suitable for powering small household appliances to larger setups for SMEs. These solar systems are ideal for various business types, such as small shops, cafés, salons, and offices, providing a dependable, decentralised energy source that reduces reliance on costly and polluting diesel generators.

Flexible Financing through Panda Africa’s Pay-As-You-Earn Model

To make solar energy accessible for everyone, Panda Africa will leverage its existing Pay-As-You-Earn (PAYE) financing model, allowing customers to purchase solar energy kits with manageable monthly payments over a 12-month period. Through direct salary deductions, this financing model minimises payment delays, ensuring that clients can easily transition to solar energy without financial strain.

Key Benefits of the PAYE Financing Model:

• Automatic Monthly Payments: Loan repayments are automatically deducted from clients’ salaries, ensuring timely payments.
• Ownership After 12 Months: After the 12-month period, clients will fully own their solar systems.
• Affordable Interest Rates: Panda Africa offers competitive interest rates, making solar solutions financially accessible for a wide range of income levels.
